Resources to help you prepare your application:

2010 SURF information sessions: basic question and answer sessions about the SURF program and the application will be held in December and early Spring. Don't wait! It is to your advantage to come to an early session so you can map out your application tasks. All sessions in 344 Campbell Hall

Individual advising on your proposal: For majors in the social sciences and humanities, contact Jacqui Shine In Spring 2009, Jacqui 's DROP IN hours are Wednesdays 1-3 pm in 301 Campbell and Thursdays 10am -12 pm in 347 Campbell. She is also available at other times those days; email her to set up an appointment:

Workshops:You are strongly encouraged to attend one of the Office of Undergraduate Research's workshops on Writing a Research Proposal. See the campus Undergraduate Research Calendar for schedule and details. Your research proposal is the heart of your application. Start early so that you have time to incorporate faculty feedback.
