Deadline for the Library Prize for Undergraduate Research

The Library Prize attracts the very best undergraduate papers from courses taught in departments across the campus. It recognizes excellence in undergraduate research projects that show evidence of:
--significant inquiry using the library, its resources, and collections
--learning about the research and information-gathering process itself.

Prize Amount: $750: lower-division, $1,000: upper-division
Number of Prizes: Up to six annually

Undergraduate research will be the focus of this Geography Tea Talk. There will be two presentations by this year's Geography major Haas Scholars. Joshua Belton and Agata Surma will jointly present "Development, Livestock, and Society: Cultural Practices and Agricultural Intervention in Upper East Ghana." Miriam Solis's talk is entitled "(En)Gendering Agrarian Reform: Geographies of Governance in Rio de Janeirio, Brazil." Coffee, tea, and cookies will be served.
