Evaluating Affective Control Training in Transdiagnostic Risk

Emotion-related impulsivity and rumination are established risk factors for developing a range of psychopathologies. Neurobehavioral Affective Control Training (N-ACT) is an eight-week cognitive remediation intervention coupled with psychoeducation coaching sessions to improve the core cognitive-affective processes understood to underlie these risk factors. This summer, I’ll be analyzing the data from the N-ACT trial to investigate whether the intervention significantly improved affective control in participants and their symptoms.
