The resources the Rose Hills Foundation provided me allowed me to make meaningful contributions to our understanding and conservation of meadow ecosystems. Not only is this one step forward to protecting our planet, but it also boosted my confidence in my own abilities and in the validity of my ideas. I'm much more comfortable moving forward into graduate school and a career in research. I'll always reflect on my experience as a SURF Rose Hills Independent fellow as a launching point into the future.
