Timeline

Students who want to attend UCDC should apply to the program the semester prior to the one they want to be in DC. Applications for Fall participation are due in late February and applications for Spring participation are due in late September. It is highly recommended that students plan for their UCDC semester early in their academic careers by meeting with a College or major advisor to discuss how UCDC fits into their academic plan. Fill out the UCDC Interest Form to receive timely information about UCDC, such as deadlines, internships, and fellowships.

Fall 2026 UCDC Program

Application Deadline	Thursday, February 19, 2026 (applications received after this date will be reviewed on a space available basis)
Interviews	Week of March 9
Notification of Acceptance	By March 20
Student Commitment Deadline	By April 9
In Person Student Cohort Meeting	Tuesday, April 14, 5-7pm in 370 Dwinelle Hall
UCDC Prep Online Orientation Series	Wednesdays, 11am PT (starting May 6)
Spring 2026 UCDC semester dates	August 23-December 4, 2026 (move in at the Washington Center August 21-22, move-out is December 5 unless students extend their housing contract).
